Privacy Policy

Applies to all apps published by ConsoleX unless an app-specific section below states otherwise.
1. Who We Are
ConsoleX publishes mobile applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Our contact email is meetspatel060@gmail.com. We are the data controller for personal data processed through our apps.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
- Account details (username, email) if an app requires registration.
- Content you submit or upload through an app.
- Customer support communications.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device information (model, OS version, device identifiers).
- Usage data (features used, crash reports, performance metrics).
- Log data (IP address, timestamps, referrer URLs, analytics events).
2.3 Location Data
We do not collect precise location unless an app explicitly requests permission and you grant it. Where location is used, the app will disclose the purpose. Location is used only for the stated in-app function and is not sold or shared with advertisers.
2.4 Health & Fitness Data HealthKit
Some apps may request access to Apple HealthKit or Google Fit data. Where this applies:
- We only request data types that the app directly uses.
- Health data is never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with third parties for purposes unrelated to the app's core function.
- Health data is processed in accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines and Google's Health Connect policy.
- See the App-Specific section below for details on which data types each app accesses.
2.5 Third-Party Services
We may use the following categories of third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy:

Not all services above are used in every app. Refer to the app-specific section for the services used in each app.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve apps and their features.
- To personalise your experience (e.g. adapting goals to your profile).
- To send notifications you have opted into (e.g. reminders).
- To analyse usage trends and fix bugs.
- To serve contextual or personalised advertising where applicable.
- To respond to support requests.
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, we process your data under the following legal bases:
- Contract — processing necessary to provide the app service you requested.
- Legitimate interests — analytics, security, app improvement.
- Consent — optional permissions such as location, health data, marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — where required by law.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information with:
- Service providers who perform services on our behalf (analytics, hosting, crash reporting) under data processing agreements.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by applicable law.
- A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale (you will be notified).
Health data is never shared with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to the app's core function, in compliance with Apple HealthKit guidelines and Google Health Connect policies.
6. Advertising
Some free apps display ads served by third-party advertising networks (e.g. Google AdMob). These partners may use device identifiers and usage data to deliver relevant ads. You can opt out of personalised advertising via:
- iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking → turn off "Allow Apps to Request to Track"
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID
Apps that explicitly state "No Ads" (such as Water Habit Tracker) do not display any advertising and do not use advertising SDKs.
7. Data Retention
- Data stored locally on your device is retained until you delete the app or use the in-app reset/delete function.
- Server-side data (where applicable) is retained for as long as your account is active, plus up to 90 days after deletion request for backup purposes.
- Analytics data is retained in aggregated, anonymised form for up to 24 months.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw previously given consent at any time.

For apps that store data only on-device, you can exercise the right to deletion by using the in-app "Reset All Data" option or by deleting the app.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest where applicable. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children's Privacy
Our apps are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under these ages. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately at meetspatel060@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
11. International Data Transfers
We are based in India. If you are located in the EEA, UK, or other regions with data transfer restrictions, note that data may be processed in other countries. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the "sale" of personal information. We do not sell personal information. To exercise your rights, contact meetspatel060@gmail.com.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will revise the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will provide in-app notification or email notice where possible. Continued use of the app after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

App-Specific Data Practices Water Habit Tracker
This section supplements the General Privacy Policy above and applies specifically to the Water Habit Tracker app published by ConsoleX.
Data Stored On-Device Only
The following data is stored exclusively on your iPhone using Apple's UserDefaults and is never transmitted to any ConsoleX server:
- Your daily water intake log entries (amount, drink type, timestamp, optional note)
- Personal settings: name, body weight, biological sex, activity level, daily goal
- Notification preferences and schedule
- Hydration streak history and milestone records
- App appearance preferences
Apple HealthKit Optional
HealthKit sync is entirely optional and off by default. It is controlled by a toggle in Settings → Apple Health. The app functions fully without HealthKit.

HealthKit data is never:
- Used for advertising or marketing
- Shared with any third party
- Sent to ConsoleX servers
- Used for any purpose other than the two stated above
This complies fully with Apple's App Store Review Guidelines §5.1.1 (Health & HealthKit).
Location & WeatherKit Optional
The app requests "When In Use" location permission to detect your local weather conditions via Apple WeatherKit. This is used to adjust your daily water goal based on temperature and humidity.
- Location accuracy is set to three-kilometre precision (low accuracy) — sufficient for weather, not for tracking.
- Location is requested once per day maximum and only when the app is open (When In Use, not background).
- Your location is sent to Apple's WeatherKit servers (governed by Apple's privacy policy). It is not sent to ConsoleX.
- Location data is not stored by the app. Only the resulting weather values (temperature, humidity, condition) are cached for one day.
- If you deny location permission, the app works fully — you select your climate manually in Settings.
Notifications
The app schedules local notifications on your device to remind you to drink water. These notifications:
- Are scheduled entirely on-device — no server involvement
- Only fire between your set wake and sleep times
- Respect your device's Focus modes and notification settings
- Can be disabled at any time in Settings → Reminders or in iOS Settings → Notifications

No analytics SDKs. No advertising SDKs. No crash reporting services. No external servers.
Deleting Your Data
To delete all Water Habit Tracker data:
- Option 1: Settings → scroll to bottom → "Reset All Data" — deletes all logs, settings, and streak history from the app.
- Option 2: Delete the app from your iPhone — iOS automatically removes all associated app data.
- HealthKit entries: To remove entries written to Apple Health, open the Health app → Browse → Nutrition → Water → select entries → delete.
Advertising & Cost
Water Habit Tracker is completely free. It contains no advertisements, no in-app purchases, and no subscription. There is no paid version. No advertising SDKs are included.

Applies to all apps published by ConsoleX on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
1. Agreement to Terms
By installing or using any ConsoleX application ("App"), you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and ConsoleX.
2. License
ConsoleX grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on a device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and any applicable App Store terms.
3. Health & Wellness Disclaimer
Apps that provide health, hydration, fitness, or wellness guidance (including Water Habit Tracker) are for general informational and wellness purposes only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice based on information provided by a ConsoleX app.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the App in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code from the App.
- Distribute, sublicense, or resell the App or any portion of it.
- Use the App to distribute malicious software, spam, or unlawful material.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App.
5. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the App — including but not limited to software code, design, graphics, trade names, and content — are and remain the exclusive property of ConsoleX or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to ConsoleX's intellectual property except the limited licence in Section 2.
6. In-App Purchases & Pricing
Some Apps offer optional in-app purchases or premium features processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. All transactions are subject to the respective platform's terms and refund policies. ConsoleX does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds outside platform policies.
Apps that are explicitly described as "Free — No In-App Purchases" (such as Water Habit Tracker) contain no paid features.
7. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with or contain links to third-party services (e.g. Apple HealthKit, Apple WeatherKit, Google Fit). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. ConsoleX is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. ConsoleX DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ConsoleX AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, PROFITS, OR HEALTH OUTCOMES — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF USD $10 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ConsoleX and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your: (a) violation of these Terms; (b) use of the App; or (c) violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
ConsoleX may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time without prior notice if you violate these Terms or for any other legitimate business reason. Upon termination, all licences granted herein immediately expire. You may terminate by uninstalling the App.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may also have the right to bring a claim in the courts of your country of residence.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through the App or by email where possible. The updated Terms will be effective upon posting. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy above and any app-specific supplement, constitute the entire agreement between you and ConsoleX regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements.
